Realme 8 series has been in the leak spree for a while now, the series was teased aggressively which moved us closer to the launch. Well, finally, the company has confirmed the launch date of the series to be March 24 in the Indian market.
The company shared a teaser video on the internet flaunting the ‘Infinity’ tag denoting the speed of the upcoming phones. The infinity symbol also denotes the number ‘8’ if looked at `horizontally. Aside from this, there’s nothing much in the teaser about the phones.
According to the previous leaks, the Realme 8 series will comprise two phones – the Realme 8 and Realme 8 Pro. Some of the specs of the phones have also been leaked earlier.
Both the devices are expected to sport a large Super AMOLED panel with quad-rear cameras. The Pro model is said to feature a whopping 108MP main lens and the vanilla will boast a 64MP primary unit.
It will also have an in-display fingerprint scanner as compared to a dedicated physical fingerprint unit on the vanilla. The Realme 8 will pack a 5,000mAh battery with 30W fast charging technology, whereas, the Realme 8 Pro will house a 4,500mAh battery with 65W fast charging support.
