Razer have been a mainstay in the gaming space for many years now, and they’ve a wide plethora of products for almost any need a gamer could have. Today, they’ve officially released the brand new Razer Black Shark V2 gaming headset.
The Black Shark V2 uses Razer TriForce 50mm titanium-plated drivers, which can independently drive the sound of each frequency band and adjust the frequency response range of the three frequencies.
On top of that, it the headset’s Razer HyperClear microphone has an independent USB sound card. This gives it passive noise reduction, which should improve voice clarity when talking to people via the headset, all for $100.

In addition to this, Razer also released a lower cost Black Shark V2 X headset. These use a non-titanium-plated TriForce 50mm driver unit and remove the USB sound card, for a lower price of only $60.
Both headsets support the new THX game configuration function, and are compatible with stereo, 5.1, and 7.1 sound sources. This means you can customize personalized sound profiles according to what game you’re playing.
