Qualcomm has shipped 2.5 million Adreno GPUs

Today, the Qualcomm Snapdragon ChinaJoy preview event was held online, focusing on the game performance of Snapdragon 865.

Qualcomm President An Meng said that 5G’s high-speed and low-latency features can support faster game loading, smoother multiplayer games and real-time cloud games anytime and anywhere. With Snapdragon Elite Gaming, the company plans to turn flagship phones into powerful “game consoles”.

The Adreno GPU is the core of Qualcomm’s game ecology and gaming experience. Official data shows that since its debut in 2005, Adreno GPUs have cumulatively shipped more than 2.5 billion units.

In terms of performance, the Adreno 650 GPU integrated on the Snapdragon 865 mobile platform can provide a 25% improvement in graphics rendering performance compared to the previous generation platform.
