    PS5 Launch Date Continues To Remain A Mystery As Sony Announces A Special Event

    Sony is gearing up to hold an event on Jun. 4, wherein the Japanese video game console maker will give fans a chance to catch the first glimpse of the future of gaming on PlayStation 5.

    Sony will be hosting a special event on Jun. 4, where the tech giant will be unveiling the hotly-anticipated PlayStation 5, giving avid gamers that have restlessly been waiting for the new gaming console their first look at the ‘future of gaming.’ This will be the first time Sony will be offering a glimpse of its new lineup of games that will be available for PS5.

    The impending special event will be live-streamed online on Jun. 4 at 1:00 pm Pacific time. The event will focus more on games as Sony is not likely to take the wraps off the console itself, creating more hype surrounding the PlayStation 5. The company has unveiled the console’s logo so far, along with the gamepad, a tech demo that showcases the graphics capability of the console.

    Sony chief executive and President Jim Ryan confirmed the company’s upcoming event via a post on the PlayStation Blog, revealing the tagline ‘The Future of Gaming.’ The upcoming event will reportedly run for over an hour. Sony is highly unlikely to give fans a glimpse of the PS5; however, recently surfaced renders have given them an idea about what the new gaming console would look like. The secrecy encompassing the next-gen console was making fans exhausted, but after Sony decided to host a special event month, several gamers took to Twitter to express their high spirits.
