Xiaomi’s subsidiary Poco is slated to take the wraps off the much-awaited Poco C3 on Oct. 6, but the Chinese phone maker has divulged details about the phone’s rear cameras just a few days ahead of the unveiling.
The Poco C3 will house three cameras embedded inside a squircle-shaped module, along with the LED flash. The 13MP sensor of the primary camera is accompanied by macro and depth units.
Moreover, the triple camera setup comprises Poco branding underneath and the C3 adopts a highly appealing two-tone design. While Poco hasn’t revealed the full specs sheet of the C3 until now, earlier reports suggest the phone is a rebranded Redmi 9C, which packs an Helio G35 SoC, and sports a 6.53-inch HD+ display, and is backed by a robust 5,000 mAh battery and that draws power through a micro USB port at up to 10W.
The Redmi 9C has a 5MP selfie camera and the triple rear setup comprises a 13MP primary, 2MP macro, and 2MP depth sensor units. Like the Poco C3, however, the Redmi 9C doesn’t sport a two-tone design and the back has a textured finish from top to bottom. Aside from that, it has an “AI Camera” written below the cameras at the back.
