Poco C3 Launch Scheduled for October 6 In India

    Poco C3 has been on and off the leaks in the past couple of weeks. The smartphone made to a few certifications and was expected to arrive soon, well, now, the company has shared a teaser video that reveals the launch date of the phone in the Indian market.

    According to the video, the Poco C3 will go official on October 12 at 12 PM IST in the Indian region. In the video, the phone has been marketed with the hashtag #GameChang3r hinting for Poco C3. Additionally, the Flipkart e-commerce site has already created a landing page of the same.

    The page reveals the square-shaped camera module holding the triple rear cameras and hints for a water-drop notch display. Other than this, there’s nothing much that drew out attention.

    The phone was previously spotted in certifications which suggested that it is the Redmi 9C rebadged model for the Indian market. Even though the specs are not outed, we can still take a look at the 9C’s specs.

    The Redmi 9C packs a 6.5-inch water-drop notch display with an HD+ resolution. It has a single 5-megapixel selfie camera at the top and features a triple camera setup at the rear. The rear cameras are placed in a square-shaped module and the setup includes a 13-megapixel primary, 2-megapixel secondary, and 2-megapixel depth unit. There is also an LED flash beside the lenses.

    It is powered by the MediaTek Helio G35 SoC coupled with 3GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. There is a big 5,000mAh battery with support for 10W fast charging technology. It has a rear-facing fingerprint scanner and it boots on Android 10 out of the box.
