Oppo has finally confirmed that the Reno6 series comprising the Oppo Reno6, Reno6 Pro, and Reno6 Pro+ will be going official on May 27 in China. Ahead of the launch, the phones have been listed on the popular retail portals of China revealing some of the major specs of the smartphones.
Oppo Reno6 Series Renders, Specs, and Colors
Popular stores like JD a.k.a Jingdong, and the Suning stores have now listed all of the three phones from the series. The listings confirm the specs, design, and color variants of the phone. Also, those who are interested in purchasing the smartphone can now do pre-reservations for the phones.
Starting with the Oppo Reno6 and the Reno6 Pro, the phones boast an identical design affirming that the major changes will be in the internals. Both the devices also come in the same color variants – Galaxy Dream, Summer Harumi, and Night Sea(Chinese translation). The phones feature a punch-hole display with super-slim bezels. As compared to the predecessors, the phones have a minimal front design, thanks to the even slimmer bottom bezel. The main difference in looks would be the curved display on the Pro which the vanilla misses on.
The devices have a triple rear camera setup placed vertically in a slightly protruded camera module. It also has an oversized LED flash unit beside the lenses.
On the other hand, the Pro+ flaunts its similar curved punch-hole panel carrying a 32MP selfie camera. At the rear, the Pro+ gets an additional camera sensor. The flash unit on the phone shifts towards the bottom of the camera island. The trio has a volume rocker on the left side and a power button on the right side.
Unlike the vanilla and the Pro models, the Reno6 Pro+ will be available in only two colors – Summer Harumi and Moon Sea.
Aside from this, the specifications of the phones would be quite interesting. The two lower-end models dubbed the Reno6 and Reno6 Pro will use the MediaTek Dimensity 900 and Dimensity 1200 respectively and the higher-end Pro+ will fuel the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 chipset.
The phones are expected to have AMOLED panels with a 6.43-inch on Reno6 and a 6.55-inch screen on the Pro and Pro+. The trio is expected to stay limited to a 90Hz refresh rate. Out of the three, the vanilla and the Pro would be sporting a 64MP main sensor, whereas, the Pro+ will be boasting a higher-end 50MP IMX766 primary sensor.
The series is expected to pack a 4,500mAh battery with support for 65W fast charging technology.
