    Oppo Reno6, Reno6 Pro, and Reno6 Pro+ Hardware and Other Specs Outed

    Oppo is expected to launch the upcoming Reno6 smartphone series soon in the Chinese market. Rumors have that the company will debut three phones dubbed Oppo Reno6, Reno6 Pro, and Reno6 Pro+. These devices were recently spotted in various certifications pushing us closer to the launch. Now, a fresh leak from the renowned tipster, Digital Chat Station has revealed a major detail of the vanilla and the Pro smartphone. Additionally, the TENAA listing has revealed the internals of both Reno6 Pro+ and the Reno6 Pro.

    Oppo Reno6 and Reno6 Pro Hardware Details

    According to the tipster, Oppo Reno will be powering the unannounced MediaTek Dimensity 900 SoC. It is said to be a chipset based on a 6nm process. The octa-core SoC will perform better than the competition’s Qualcomm Snapdragon 768G SoC.

    Moreover, the Reno Pro is expected to power the most powerful Dimensity chipset available. The device is tipped to fuel the Dimensity 1200 SoC competing with the flagships from other Chinese contenders. Interestingly, an Oppo device with the model number PEPM00 was recently spotted on AntuTu and it has scored whopping 713,731 points. This particular model number is believed to be of the upcoming Oppo Reno6 Pro.

    Aside from this, the Reno 6 Pro+ possessing the model number – PENM00 was also seen in the rumor mill. The handset’s TENAA listing confirms that the smartphone will feature a 6.55-inch AMOLED display with an FHD+ resolution and high refresh rate.

    It will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 chipset paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard storage. The handset is expected to house a 4,500mAh battery with 65W fast charging support.

    On the other hand, the Reno6 Pro will come with the same display panel and battery and the only major difference between the Pro and Pro+ will be the chipset and cameras.

    As said above, the Pro will fuel the Dimensity 1200 SoC paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.

    The Reno6 Pro + is said to boast a 50MP + 16MP + 13MP + 2MP quad-rear camera setup, whereas, the Reno4 Pro will flaunt a 64MP + 8MP + 2MP + 2MP quadruple system at the rear.

    The series is expected to debut on May 22 in China but recent rumors suggest a May 27 launch date. Before jumping to the conclusions, let’s wait for Oppo to confirm the same, until then we just have to browse through the mill to find some more leaks of the series.
