Oppo is expected to launch the successor to the Reno5 series soon in the Chinese market. Rumors are rife, that it will be called the Oppo Reno6 5G series and it will come with a MediaTek chipset onboard. Now, the renowned tipster Digital Chat Station has shared a few key specs of an unknown smartphone whose specs resemble what the rumored Reno6 series is likely to come with.
According to the leak, the Oppo smartphone or Oppo Reno6 5G will come with MediaTek Dimensity 1200 chipset. It is expected to be paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of native storage.
In terms of the display and design, the smartphone could come with a similar design as its predecessor. It will have a 6.55-inch punch-hole display with super-thin bezels. It will be an AMOLED panel with a 90Hz refresh rate and resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. It is touted to boast a 32-megapixel single front camera for clicking selfie portraits.
The smartphone will feature a quad-rear camera system with a 64-megapixel primary lens. Out of the four, one of the lenses will be an ultra-wide angle unit. As for the battery, it will pack a 4,500mAh cell with support for 65W Quick Charging technology.
Aside from this, the other two siblings Reno6 Pro and Reno6 Pro 5G are also slated to launch at the same event where the Reno6 will make its appearance. The Pro model is expected to fuel the powerful Snapdragon 870 and the Pro+ is touted to draw power from the Snapdragon 888 flagship chipset.
