Oppo has finally launched the Reno4 Pro smartphone in the Indian market. For starters, the Oppo Reno4 Pro is completely different from one that was launched in China earlier. The Indian variant comes with a different design, high refresh rate display, and different hardware.
The Oppo Reno4 Pro comes in a single variant with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage priced at INR 34,990 which is roughly 468 US Dollars. It is available in two finishes – Black and White. It can be purchased via Amazon and Flipkart shopping portals from August 5.
Oppo Reno4 Pro Indian Variant Specifications
The Reno4 Pro Indian variant is a 4G handset that sports a 6.5-inch single punch-hole display with curved edges. It is a Super AMOLED panel with 800 nits of brightness. Oppo calls it a 3D curved display that has a Borderless Sense Screen. It is a 90Hz refresh rate panel with a touch sampling rate of 180Hz. The screen doubles up as an in-display fingerprint scanner.
In terms of optics, the smartphone boasts a Quad-camera setup at the rear placed vertically. It has a 48-megapixel Sony IMX 586 primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and two 2-megapixel lenses. It has a 32-megapixel selfie lens at the top left of the screen.
Powering the machine is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G octa-core SoC. Again this is different from the Snapdragon 765G found on the Chinese variant of Reno4 Pro. There is a 4,000mAh battery with support for 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 fast charging. Oppo claims it to juice the full battery in just 36 minutes of charge.
