Oppo Reno 4 Series To Have An Odd Front Camera Pairing; More Specs And Pricing Details Leaked!

As the launch nears, we see more and more leaks of the upcoming Oppo Reno 4 and Reno 4 Pro smartphones. Today, we have a closer look at the vanilla Oppo Reno 4 smartphone’s front and rear panel. There’s also a table that showcases some more of its specs and details.

The Oppo Reno 4 smartphone’s rear panel was showcased multiple times and we already know that it will have a captivating back. We learned that there will be a triple camera housing at the rear in a vertical camera module. There will also be a Reno, Glow, and Oppo branding all over the back.

Gazing at the rare image of the front panel, we see the dual-hole punch setup with narrow bezels. This is strange as the teaser video shared by Oppo itself showed a single hole-punch display but here we have a look at the dual-hole-punch screen.

Well, to clear out the confusion, there’s a specs table that confirms the rare decision of implementing a single front-facing camera on the Reno 4 Pro and a dual-front facing camera on the vanilla Reno 4. That’s an odd setup, especially for the Pro model.

Other than this, the table also has some more detail which we will get back to soon in this article.

For now, moving back to the leaked image, the smartphone overall has minimal bezels but does have a prominent bottom chin. At the top, we also see the earpiece of the smartphone.

Moreover, the table confirms most of the other specs of the smartphone series. The Reno 4 series is listed with a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 48-megapixel primary lens, another 8-megapixel lens, and the third 2-megapixel sensor on the vanilla model. On the other hand, the Pro model will equip a 48-megapixel main lens, another 12-megapixel sensor, and the third 13-megapixel sensor.

The Reno 4 is tipped to sport a 90Hz 6.4-inch panel, whereas, the Reno 4 Pro to feature a 90Hz 6.5-inch panel. The Duo will come powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G SoC enabling 5G connectivity and powerful performance.

In terms of the batteries, both the smartphones are said to house the same 4,000mAh battery with 65W fast charging support. The listing also mentions the weight of the Reno 4 to be 183 grams and Pro’s 172 grams.

Surprisingly, it also tips the pricing of the vanilla Reno 4 to be around CNY 3000($450). We expect the Reno 4 to go a bit more premium.
