After a couple of months from the launch of Oppo’s Reno 3 smartphone series, Oppo is now all set to launch the successor Oppo Reno 4 series of smartphones. Oppo on its Weibo handle has shared some of the images of the device that touts some details.
Just yesterday, some of the Oppo Reno 4 smartphone’s retail store images were shared that confirmed the new alluring design. The new images give us a closer look at the smartphone’s rear and the probable color variants. The Reno 4, flaunts in sort of a Sky Blue and the Pinkish color variants.
It also confirms the Three camera pairing at the rear with an LED flash beside the lenses. It is a vertical camera module with noticeable bump making it look fancier. The previous as well as this leak showcases Oppo branding at the rear sides along with a ‘Glow’ embossed below the Oppo logo. For those who don’t know, ‘Glow’ is the trademark which Oppo recently filed with European Union Intellectual Property Office for the Oppo Reno 4 series.
Oppo Reno 4 Series Smartphone Specs
Earlier, there wasn’t any leak for the ‘Pro’ model but the Weibo post from the company’s official handle was posted by an Oppo Reno 4 Pro. This attests that the Pro model is coming with some higher-grade specs. The details for the same are scarce, but we have got some bits on the specs of the vanilla Reno 4.
The Reno 4 was also spotted on the TENAA certification revealing some of the device’s specs. Surprisingly, there were four different models, the PDNM00, PDPM00, PDNT00, and the PDPT00. The PDNT00 model was also seen on MIIT documentation.
Both the TENAA and MIIT documentations reveals that both the Reno devices will come powered by a mid-ranger SoC with up to 8GB of RAM. The vanilla Reno 4 is said to sport a 6.43-inch display, whereas, the Reno 4 Pro is tipped to sport a 6.55-inch panel. The duo will sport a hole-punch camera setup at the front, the Pro model should get a dual hole-punch, while the vanilla should debut with a single hole-punch.
In terms of the optics, both the smartphones are expected to come with a triple rear camera setup with a better primary lens on the Pro model. Both the devices will run on Android 10 out of the box with Oppo’s ColorOS on top of it.
Other than this, the smartphone series’ launch dates aren’t confirmed but looking at the teasers and leaks, we expect the launch to occur in the next couple of months.
