Oppo has officially launched the A93 smartphone in the Vietnamese market with an AMOLED display, quad-rear cameras, and 8GB of RAM. The Oppo A93 is not a new smartphone, rather, it is a badged version of the previously launched Oppo F17 Pro with minor differences.
The Oppo A93 comes in a sole 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant priced at VND 7,490,000(~$324). For the asking price, it offers a fresh design with a dual-punch hole display. It is a 6.43-inch AMOLED panel that rocks an FHD+ resolution and a 60Hz refresh rate. It comes with an 800 nits peak brightness and has 409-pixel density.

At the helm, the smartphone fuels MediaTek’s Helio P95 chipset which is bundled with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.1 storage. The storage is expandable via the microSD card slot. It packs a 4,000mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging support. The fast-charging capability on the F17 Pro is 33W VOOC 4.0 and the A93 misses on the VOOC fast charge and rather uses Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 3.0 technology.
In terms of the optics, the phone has a square-shaped rear camera array with 48-megapixel primary lens, an 8-megapixel wide-angle sensor, a 2-megapixel tertiary camera, and the last 2-megapixel monochrome unit. There is a 16MP + 2MP dual front camera setup at the front at the top left side. It boots on Android 10 based on Oppo’s FunTouchOS on top of it.
