Oppo A52 smartphone was first launched in China and India. A week after its launch, the device made its way to Kenya. The smartphone has now gone for pre-order in the Kenya market. The budget smartphone that has 1080p Neo display and Snapdragon SoC will compete with other budget offerings in the country.
The Oppo A52 is priced at KSH 24,999(~$235) for the sole variant with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. To recall, the smartphone was launched in the Indian market for slightly lesser pricing of ₹16,990(~$224) for 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.
The device is on pre-order till June 28 in the country and it will be shipping later. It is available in Twilight Black and Stream White color variants sold via Oppo Jumia store.
The Oppo A52 features a 6.5-inch FHD+ display with a 90.5 percent screen-to-body ratio. It is a hole-punch display with minimum bezels except for the bottom bezel. It has a Quad-camera array with 12-megapixel primary lens, 8-megapixel wide-angle lens, and two 2-megapixel sensors for macro and bokeh shot.
It is fueled by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 SoC paired with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. It has a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging technology. It runs on Android 10 out of the box with ColorOS on top of it.
