OnePlus Z has been in the rumor mill for a while now, its specs were surfaced earlier, some renders also popped out, later we even showed you the exclusive screen-protector leak of the smartphone. Now, a leakster on Twitter has shared some more details of the OnePlus Z internals reaffirming some known details. Surprisingly, it shows the alleged launch date as well, let’s take a look at the details.
The OnePlus Z will be an affordable offering from the company with rumored Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G SoC. The new leak reaffirms this claiming that it will indeed power the Snapdragon 765G mid-range SoC. For those who don’t know, Snapdragon 765G SoC has been shipped with several mid-range smartphones, it is a capable SoC that can score 612 single-core and 1955 multi-core scores just as we saw in the past listing of the smartphone.
The leakster also touts some more details on the specs, let’s first get them out of the way then we will jump to the tipped launch date. The mid-range smartphone is touted to sport a 6.5-inch Samsung AMOLED panel with narrow bezels.
It is said to feature a triple camera array with 48-megapixel primary camera, 12-megapixel secondary lens, and a 13-megapixel tertiary lens. At the front, it will equip a 16-megapixel selfie snapper.
The smartphone is rumored to house a 4,000mAh battery with 30W fast charging support. It will arrive in a configuration of an 8GB and 12GB RAM with up to 256GB of internal storage.
Other than this, the leakster’s Twitter handle also suggests that it will debut in White, Black, and Blue finish. Additionally, it will also arrive in a limited-edition color variant which we are yet to learn about.
Moving to the launch date, this is quite contingent but nonetheless, the device is tipped to launch on July 14 that is the second week of the next month.
The aforementioned details might be a case of contingency so do take it with a pinch of salt. Especially the launch date, as OnePlus hasn’t announced anything yet, but we can still expect the launch to occur sometime in July.
