After launching the Oneplus 8T last month, the leaks for the successor OnePlus 9 series are up on the hill. Last time we saw the renders of the OnePlus 9 smartphone and now we have some fresh images of the OnePlus 9 Pro.
The renders reveal a similar rear design footprint to that of the vanilla model. It has a vertical rear camera module housing quad cameras. The entire rear panel seems to be matte but we can’t really judge it now as these are the initial renders.
If we take a look at the front, the design is slightly different from the vanilla OnePlus 9’s design. The Pro model sports a massive 6.7-inch display with a taller aspect ratio. It has curved sides unlike what we have seen in the vanilla model.
The phone has a power button and the Alert Slider on the right-hand-side and the volume rocker on the left-hand side. Apart from this, there’s nothing else to look for but the previous leaks have revealed that this time around OnePlus will move a bit higher and present the OnePlus 9 Pro with a 144Hz refresh rate screen. If it is to be believed then it will be a huge leap from the 120Hz refresh rate panel on the predecessor.
It was recently spotted on the Geekbench portal with the yet to launch Qualcomm Snapdragon 875 chipset. The phone runs on Android 11 and carries a quirky codename that goes by – LuBan LE2117. The listing also revealed the base model has 8GB of RAM.
The leaks have hinted at some major details of the upcoming OnePlus flagship devices but it’s still a long time for the phones to debut. The potential launch time should be March but what’s the hurry? let’s wait for some more leaks until we get an official confirmation.
