OnePlus’ flagship smartphone will evidently be the OnePlus 8T and in the heat of its rumors, there’s a new exclusive report that comes from Android Central. The smartphone’s first look was shared in the past and now the new report reveals some bits about the display, cameras, and processor.
According to the report, the upcoming OnePlus 8T or the codenamed ‘Kebab’ device will come with a 120Hz refresh rate panel. It was previously said to come with a 6.55-inch AMOLED screen with a high refresh rate. The current OnePlus 8 has a 90Hz refresh rate panel making the OnePlus 8T get ahead in terms of the display.
It is also suggested that the flagship device will have a quadruple-camera setup at the rear. There will be a 48-megapixel Sony IMX 689 primary lens, another 16-megapixel wide-angle camera, a 5-megapixel macro lens, and a 2-megapixel portrait unit.
Moreover, the 8T will come powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+ SoC paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It is also revealed that the device will run Android 11 out of the box with OxygenOS 11 on top of it.
Other than this, the smartphone is also said to launch by the end of September or early October this year. The smartphone is expected to be priced similar to the current OnePlus 8 but there’s nothing to affirm it as of now.
