OnePlus 8 Pro arguably has to be one of the most popular smartphones in the world. The smartphone was launched in China and other regions a few months back and later it made its way to the Indian market. Even though the unveiling, due to COVID-19 Oppo factories in the country were officially shut down for weeks. Later, factories were finally running and the device went up for sale last week. Today, the OnePlus 8 Pro is again going for sale in the Indian market.
The smartphone is priced at ₹54,999(~$727) for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant and ₹59,999(~$793) for the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant. For those who purchase it with SBI debit and credit cards get a ₹3,000(~$40) instant discount.
It will go up for sale from 12 PM IST via Amazon India and OnePlus India stores. It will be available in three color options – Onyx Black, Glacial Green, and Ultramarine Blue.
OnePlus 8 Pro Smartphone Specifications
The smartphone’s specifications are undoubtedly crazy with a mammoth 6.78-inch Quad-HD+ Fluid AMOLED display with thin bezels. It is a hole-punch display with curved edges. It has a 120Hz fast refresh rate display with HDR10+ support.
It has a Quad-camera setup at the rear with 48MP main sensor, 48MP ultra-wide lens, 8MP telephoto lens, and 5MP color filter lens. For those who don’t know, the color filter camera is limited in the Indian variant as it doesn’t possess the see-through filter.
Inside, it powers the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. It has a 4,510mAh battery with 30W wired, 30W wireless, and reverse wireless charging. It has an In-display Fingerprint Scanner and Face Unlock for security. It runs on OxygenOS based on Android 10 out of the box.
