Xiaomi’s ecological chain company Oclean has unveiled two new products in its niche market. The company introduced a successor to its well-received Oclean Air toothbrush, dubbed Oclean Air2 Sonic Electric Toothbrush. The product was launched alongside the Oclean W1 water flosser.

The recently unveiled Oclean Air2 boasts an upgraded design and reduced operational noise. It is certified by the CNAS (China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment) and produces less than 45dB operating noise, which is lower than the national standard of 72dB. It is worth mentioning here that most electric toothbrushes produce working noises of about 60dB, making the Oclean Air2 a relatively silent toothbrush.
The traditional method of brushing teeth may not necessarily be effective when it comes to keeping your mouth germ free. Some angled enamel does not get cleaned through a regular method of brushing, allowing food residue to ferment and rot, and eventually serve as a hotbed of bacteria.

This leads to multiple issues including bleeding gums, toothache, and even tooth decay, and that’s exactly where electric toothbrushes come into the picture. While most of us will be familiar with brands like Oral-B and Philips, I think Oclean is a brand that deserves your attention as well, especially their latest Oclean Air2 sonic electric toothbrush. So, without wasting a lot of time, let’s dive straight into the details.

One of the most important features of the Oclean Air2 sonic electric toothbrush is the Flower Language. The electric toothbrush comes in four highly appealing color options that draw inspiration from eucalyptus, purple iris, white tulip, and pink rose. It hides four types of flower language and four types of character secret words, allowing you to explore flower language mystery and your inner spiritual world.

Each color option of the Oclean Air2 has different flower patterns on the packaging. The Oclean Air2 sonic electric toothbrush package comprises of the brush head, the toothbrush body and the charger are three standard parts. Previous electric toothbrushes had thick and bloated handles that were very heavy, but the Oclean Air2 addresses this issue with a slightly fatter body, which is thinner as compared to products such as the Oral-B D12.

Moreover, it adopts an arc-shaped line design, which complements its lightweight. The handle is delicate and extremely comfortable to hold. It has a non-slip matte treatment. The body features only one circular button that you can press to light up the LED light, and the light ring can be used to determine whether or not the toothbrush is working.

You can short press it to turn it on, and switch between four levels of cleaning modes simply by long-pressing it. Cleaning modes, on the other hand, have voice prompts. The Oclean Air2 comes with a magnetic charging base with a USB interface, which supports both positive and negative insertion, making it as convenient as Type-C. The short charging base cable has a good texture.
This can be touted as a proper super fast charge on an electric toothbrush, allowing you to fully charge it in about two hours. It takes about an hour to charge at a time, and the battery offers an impressive battery life of 30 days. Moreover, it comes with a waterproof rating of IPX7, making it a product of a waterproof level of 7 that can be placed in 1 meter of water for 30 minutes.

The market is teeming with various types of electric toothbrushes, and the currently available electric toothbrushes can be split into two categories including the rotary vibration type and the sonic type. The rotary vibration electric toothbrush adopts a washing machine mechanism as the brush head repeatedly rotates on your teeth at high speed.
The 3D vibration mode can be compared to a woodpecker swaying his head from side to side, while the rotating vibration brushing method requires the toothbrush to be designed within a certain pressure range, or else it may lead to greater wear on the enamel. The 3D vibration mode can be compared to a woodpecker swaying his head from side to side, while the rotating vibration brushing method requires the toothbrush to be designed within a certain pressure range, or else it may lead to greater wear on the enamel.

The Oclean Air2 belongs to the sonic electric toothbrush category. It brushes your teeth using the frequency of its vibration, which also justifies the “sonic” moniker it carries. It uses a high-speed motor to transfer kinetic energy to the rotating shaft, and then drives the brush handle to vibrate, allowing the bristles to move up and down or left and right.

The top of the bristles can generate high-speed water flow to clean the teeth. The Oclean Air2 features DuPont diamond-shaped bristles that are comfortable to use, and are not too soft or too hard. You can activate two different modes using a single button – simply click to stop and long-press to switch. Since the Oclean Air2 isn’t too fat, it doesn’t take up a lot of space. On top of that, it is comfortable to use, but more importantly, it delivers a superior cleaning effect.
