Nubia had launched the Red Magic 6 Series in the Chinese market this month, now, the same series is scheduled to land in the global market next month. Nubia has confirmed the launch date of the series to be April 9 where the global market will get both the Magic 6 and Magic 6 Pro gaming smartphones.
Nubia Red Magic 6 Series Specs and Pricing
The Red Magic 6 and Red Magic 6 Pro feature a large 6.8-inch AMOLED display with a crazy 165Hz refresh rate and FHD+ resolution. The display also doubles up as an in-display fingerprint scanner for added security.
At the helm, the duo powers the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset paired with up to 12GB RAM on the vanilla and 16GB RAM on the Pro model. The Magic 6 packs a 5,050mAh battery with 66W fast charging support, whereas, the Magic Pro houses a smaller 4,500mAh battery with whopping 120W fast charging support.
The Red Magic 6 has a glass back as compared to the more premium Aviation-grade aluminum back on the Red Magic 6 Pro. As of optics, the duo flaunts the same triple rear camera system with 64MP + 8MP(ultra-wide) + 2MP(macro) sensor. At the front lies the single 8MP selfie camera. Red Magic has brought its Neovision technology which optimizes the cameras on the device.
Both the phones come with an ICE 6.0 multi-dimensional cooling system with an additional Aviation-grade 7-layers cooling Ice plate in the Pro for managing the heat while intense gaming sessions. The phones boot on RedMagic OS 4(based on Android 11) which comes with some dedicated gaming tools.
In terms of the pricing, the Red Magic 6 starts at CNY 3,799(~$588) and the Pro model is priced at CNY 4,399(~$680) in the home-town, China. We can expect similar pricing in the global market once it’s out for sale.
