HMD Global launched a new smartphone in the Chinese market today, that being the entry-level Nokia C3. It’s main selling point is a unique “Xpress button” on the side of the phone, which supports one-click direct payments in China.
Nokia C3 is equipped with a 5.99-inch IPS screen with a resolution of 1440×720. The rear of the device features a polycarbonate shell, and under that there’s a removable 3,040mAh battery.

The device features an octa-core Unisoc SoC clocked at 1.2GHz, paired with 3GB of RAM. This is the Unisoc SC9863 SoC, which means the smartphone is simply going to end up as an entry-level device.
Nokia C3 provides a front 5-megapixel selfie beauty camera and an 8-megapixel HDR camera. At the same time, it supports panoramic, time-lapse and HD video recording.
By double-clicking the Xpress button, you can one-click directly to the WeChat payment interface. A long press on the other hand activates a body detection” function that tests blood pressure, blood oxygen, and blood viscosity.
In addition, users can also customize the button to launch different things with a double-click or long-press. Press the power button on the left side five times to activate the emergency call function, and you can dial 110, 119 or 120 quickly.
Nokia C3 runs Android 10 out of the box, along with all the features it comes with. The device is available in Nordic Blue and Sand Gold. The price of 3GB+32GB is 699 yuan ($100). Pre-orders for it begin later today.
