Last year in December, Nokia launched the Nokia C1 budget smartphone with 1GB of RAM and a compact 5.45-inch display. Now, a new report from NPU slats more details of its probable successor dubbed Nokia C1 Plus. The device was earlier spotted in certifications carrying the model number TA-1312 and now the smartphone’s specs have been tipped.
According to the report, the Nokia C1 Plus will have the same display as the Nokia C1. It will rock a 5.45-inch display with an HD+ resolution. We are not sure if the bezels and the aspect ratio will be the same as the other sibling but there will surely be a broader notch as it will be an entry-level handset. It is said to power an unknown octa-core SoC clocked at 1.4Ghz. There will be 1GB of RAM accompanying the storage and 16GB of onboard storage. It will have a microSD card slot for additional storage.

In terms of the cameras, the phone will feature a 5-megapixel lens at the rear and a 5-megapixel camera at the front. The Nokia C1 Plus will be a 4G handset and is expected to have a dual-SIM card slot. It will pack a smaller 2,500mAh battery without any sort of fast charging support. Following are its dimensions – 149.1 mm x 71.2 mm x 8.75 mm.
Nokia is expected to launch the phone this month itself in Red and Blue color options at a budget price. At the same event, the company is rumored to launch the Nokia 7.3 and Nokia 9.3 PureView as well.
