HMD Global took covers off its first 5G smartphone, the Nokia 8.3 5G in the market last year. Now, the smartphone is expected to get a successor as rumors are rife about the same. The popular Nokia publication NPU has once again shared some key details of the next flagship phone from the company.
According to the publication, the upcoming Nokia 8.3 5G successor could carry the moniker Nokia G10. It is also expected to be called as Nokia 8.4 5G. It will be a 5G device with the below-mentioned specifications.
The probable Nokia G10 or the Nokia 8.3 5G’s successor will power either the Qualcomm Snapdragon 775 or Snapdragon 775G chipset as it was recently spotted with the SM7350 chipset model number.
Aside from this, the smartphone is expected to flaunt a whopping 108MP primary camera at the rear. It will be a Penta-camera setup with Zeiss optics and OZO Audio technology. The smartphone is expected to have a 6.5-inch Quad-HD+ display panel with a higher 120Hz refresh rate. It is said to come with a 5,000mAh battery with some sort of fast charging technology.
Regarding its launch date, the publication suggests that Nokia will announce the device sometime in the second half of 2021. The availability details and pricing are still under wraps.
