Since the start of 2020, Honor has been launching 5G-enabled smartphones in most of the markets. In-between, the company has also been propelling 4G handsets in some regions. Just like that, a new Honor device has appeared on the TENAA listing that reveals some of its details.
According to the listing, an Honor smartphone has been spotted with model number ASK-AL20. It is believed to be a budget Honor device with some specs nearly identical to the Honor 9C smartphone that launched earlier.
The Honor ASK-AL20 sports a 6.39-inch display with a resolution of 1560 x 720 pixels. It is an IPS LCD panel and is expected to feature a notch or a hole-punch display. The device has a triple rear camera setup with 48-megapixel primary cameras. It is accompanied by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2-megapixel unit. It has an 8-megapixel selfie snapper at the front.
To recall, the Honor 9C also came with the same inch display with the same 48MP primary sensor. Not just that, as you read ahead, the batteries and chipsets also seem similar.
Under the hood, it is listed with an octa-core chipset clocked at 2.0Ghz. It is paired with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The battery here is quite small at 3,900mAh capacity. It is also said to arrive in multiple color variants including the Black, White, Red, and Blue.
That’s what we learn from the TENAA and some of the previous leaks, considering the consistent leaks, the launch seems to be forthcoming. However, Honor hasn’t uttered a word about the smartphone but do expect the company to launch it soon.
