Motorola Razr 5G foldable phone has finally landed the Indian market at a premium price tag. The phone was launched earlier in the Chinese market with mid-range internals and 5G support. Even though the 5G connectivity is not yet developed in the nation, still Motorola has propelled the handset and it is the first clamshell 5G phones to launch in the Indian market.
The Motorola Razr 5G is priced at ₹1,24,999(~$1,700) which is $130 cheaper than the Chinese pricing of CNY 12,499(~$1,830). The phone was launched in three colors in the home-market but in Indian, only the Polished Graphite will be available. The pre-booking has already started via Flipkart and the first sale is scheduled for October 12.

The foldable phone comes with a 6.2-inch P-OLED display boasting a 2142 x 876 pixels. The secondary or the outside display is of size 2.7-inch and it has an aspect ratio of 4:3. There is a single 48MP primary camera and a 20MP selfie camera and the rear lens is said to be able to shoot videos using OIS technology.
It withdraws power from the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G system-on-chip paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard storage. There is a small 2,800mAh battery with support for 15W fast charging. The dual-SIM foldable clamshell phone boots on My UX UI based on Android 10 out of the box.
