A budget Motorola smartphone named ‘Motorola Capri’ arrived in the rumor mill carrying the model numbers XT2127-1 and XT2127-2. The leak confirmed that there will be two models of the smartphone. Well, now, the phone has yet again emerged in the mill with a different model number. A Geekbench result sheet shows a phone with model number XT2129-3 which is said to be the higher-end model called Motorola Capri Plus.
Motorola Capri Plus Scores and Specifications
The ‘Lenovo XT2129-3 a.k.a the Motorola Capri Plus has scored 306 single-core points and 1258 multi-core points on the Geekbench 5. The device flows on the latest Android 11 OS and is expected to have some Motorola custom features on top of it.
Fueling the system is the Snapdragon 662 octa-core chipset which is paired with 4GB of RAM. A German Publication called Technick News has reportedly said that it will have two storage options 64GB and 128GB. The device is also said to feature a 90Hz refresh rate panel which will have a resolution of HD+.
The publication has also revealed its camera details. It is reported to sport a triple rear camera system with 64-megapixel primary lens, a 13-megapixel ultra-wide angle camera, and a last 2-megapixel depth-sensing lens.
Motorola Capri Specifications
Aside from this, the other model which will actually be a single vanilla model called ‘Capri’ is said to rock an HD+ display with a 60Hz refresh rate. The vanilla model will have a 4GB + 64GB sole variant powering the Qualcomm Snapdragon 460 SOC. It is expected to have a 48MP triple rear camera setup and house a big 5,000mAh battery. The battery will be backed up by a 19W fast charging support and it will boot on Android 11 out of the box.
As of now, Motorola hasn’t revealed the Capri series’ launch date but we expect the same in the coming weeks. Until then, let’s wait for some more leaks to step into the rumor mill.
