Motorola has finally updated its budget Moto G-lineup with the launch of Moto G9. The Motorola Moto G9 is a successor to the last year’s Moto G8 and it comes with a massive battery, triple rear cameras, and Snapdragon chipset.
The Moto G9 comes in a sole variant with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage priced at ₹11,499(~$155). It has two color variants – Sapphire Blue and Forest Green. The smartphone will go on sale starting from August 31 in India.

The budget smartphone has a different rear design as compared to the predecessor has a 6.5-inch LCD display. It is a water-drop notch panel with an HD+ resolution modern aspect ratio. There is a square-camera module as the rear that holds three camera lenses, a 48-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.7 aperture, another 2-megapixel portrait shooter, and a third 2-megapixel macro lens. It has a single 8-megapixel front camera with an aperture of f/2.2.
It comes powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 chipset with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage. The storage is expandable via the microSD card slot. It is backed up by a massive 5,000mAh battery with 20W fast charging support.
The device has a dedicated Google assistant button for quick voice tasks and also has the 3.5mm headphone jack and USB Type-C port. It runs on Android 10 out of the box and has Moto actions.
