Motorola was said to launch two new smartphones dubbed Moto G60 and Moto G40 in the mid-range segment in India. The smartphones were rumored to be one of the ‘best specs’ phones ever seen in the mid-range. Now, Motorola itself has confirmed the launch date of smartphones to be April 20 in India.
The all-new Moto G60 and Moto G40 Fusion’s launch is set for 12 PM Indian Standard Time. The company has also revealed a few key highlights of smartphones.
The company has confirmed that the devices will be launching via Flipkart and the series is riffed to compete with likes from Redmi and Realme. The duo will have similar specs and the major difference will be the cameras. The Moto G60 and G40 Fusion will sport a mammoth 6.82-inch display. It is expected to be an AMOLED panel with a whopping 120Hz refresh rate and Full-HD+ resolution.
At the helm, the smartphones will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G chipset paired with 6GB of base RAM in the G60 and 4GB of base RAM in the G40. The smartphones will pack a 6,000mAh battery with support for some sort of fast charging support.
As said above, the major difference will be in the cameras. The Moto G60 and G40 will flaunt a triple rear camera system with a whopping 108MP Samsung ISOCEL HM2 primary sensor on the G60 and a 64MP main sensor on the G40. The second will be an ultra-wide lens. At the front, the smartphones will feature a 32MP selfie camera on the G60 and a 16MP selfie unit on the G40.
Aside from this, the phones are expected to be priced aggressively in the country and will be shipped by the end of this month.
