Motorola will be holding an event for the launch of a new smartphone in the Indian market. The teaser tweet shared by the company reveals a smartphone similar to the Moto E7 Plus that launched recently in the global market. Said that the company is expected to toss the same device in India but the tweet doesn’t reveal an exact launch date.
We expect Motorola to share the exact details in the next couple of days with a launch by the end of this month or early October. The Moto E7 Plus which is speculated to land comes with a 6.5-inch water-drop notch display. It is an HD+ panel with thin bezels. Motorola has marketed it with Max Vision display in Brazil and has tossed it for a price tag of ZAR 1,349 or roughly $82/₹6,000.

Other specs of the smartphone are as follows. There is a dual-rear camera setup with a 48-megapixel primary lens and another 2-megapixel depth-sensing unit. It has an 8-megapixel front camera for selfie shots at f/2.2 aperture.
It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 460 SoC paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The handset packs a big 5,000mAh battery without any sort of fast charging support. It has a 3.5mm headphone jack at the bottom and features a single speaker setup. It runs on Android 10 and has Moto actions pre-enabled.
When the device lands in India, it is expected to come with the same specs as the global version and is expected to come under ₹7,372(~$100) in the country.
