Motorola launched the Moto E6 budget smartphone back in 2019 with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 400-series processor. Now, the company is all set to unveil the successor to the E6 with upgraded internals.
According to the report, the Motorola Moto E6 is getting a successor. The reports mention that the smartphone will allegedly come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 600-series SoC. It is said to be called the Moto E LE.
Inside, the Moto E LE will be powering the Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 chipset with a large form factor. It is speculated to house a 3,550mAh battery with standard fast charging tech. The budget offering from Motorola is said to sport a large HD+ display.
The device is tipped to come in a similar form factor to the predecessor Motorola Moto E6. The overall dimensions of the smartphone will be 159.77 x 76.25 x 8.65mm compared to the 149.7 x 72.3 x 8.57mm of the Moto E6. The display here is definitely getting bigger but we also see a thicker body.
The smartphone’s major selling point will be the large display and the upgrade to the more powerful chip.
Moreover, the successor is touted to come at around $150 that is about CNY 1070. The debut date isn’t provided, but looking at the leaks, Motorola seems to have the launch in the pipeline.
