Mi Smart Band 5 Will Go On Sale Today at 12 PM In India

    Xiaomi Mi Smart Band 5 was launched in the Chinese and European markets earlier and just a day back it went official in one of Xiaomi’s major market India. Starting today, the fitness wearable will go on sale in the country.

    The Mi Smart Band 5 will go on sale today(October 1) at 12 PM IST. It is priced at ₹2,499(~$34) and will be available in five color options – Black, Teal, Purple, Navy Blue, and Orange. It can be purchased via,, and Mi Home stores.

    The 5th iteration of the Mi Smart Band offers a bigger 1.1-inch display over the 0.95-inch in the Mi Band 4. It has numerous customizable watch faces and the brightness is now improved to 450 nits.

    It has 11 sports modes which includes indoor running, outdoor running, indoor cycling, walking, indoor swimming, rope skipping, yoga, indoor riding, freestyle exercise, rowing machine, and elliptical machine. The Band comes with PAI(Personal Activity Intelligence) feature which tells yous health score and rates you fitness based on the past activities.

    Additionally, it now comes with Menstrual Cycle tracking and Stree Monitorning feature which were again missing in the predecessor Band 4. There is 24-hours continuos Heart Rate Monitoring feature and is water-resistant. The smart band is backed up by a 125mAh battery that is claimed to offer up to 3 weeks of usage on a single charge. Xiaomi has also bundled the new magnetic charging cable inside the box.

    Other than this, the Band 5 can show calls, messages, texts notifications, and notifications from most of the third party applications. It also has the idle alert feature that will notify when sitting for too long. The fitness wearable can be paired with iOS and Android devices with the help of the Mi Fit app.
