Meizu 17 series was unveiled back in May this year with the flagship Snapdragon 865 SoC and quadruple cameras. Now, after almost six months, a new leak has popped online that touts details of its successor, the Meizu 18. The leak comes specifically for the smartphone named Meizu 18 Max 5G which might be a successor of the Pro model.
According to the leaked poster, the Meizu 18 Max 5G has a pretty suspicious design. It seems like a concept but may or may not be legit. The phone sports a full-screen display with a zero-bezel design. Unlike other edge-to-edge phones, this one has no rim at all, only the frame is visible after the flat display. It is an OLED panel with a whopping 3K resolution and there is a 32MP front camera for selfies. Again, the specs sheet above mentions the front camera but the display does not have any punch-hole or a notch to hold it. We aren’t sure but it could be an under-display lens.
There is a circular camera module at the rear which is led by a 64MP quad-rear cameras(ZEISS optics). Strangely, it does not have any sort of LED flash. At the rear, there is a Meizu branding at the bottom center. Moreover, the phone has a whopping 120W wired and 45W wireless fast charging support. The phone has a dual linear vibration motor for gaming and features dual-stereo speakers.
Do take the leak with a pinch of salt as it is yet to be confirmed but once we get more details, we’ll update you on the same.
