Yesterday we covered the launch of the Meizu 17 and 17 Pro, and today we’ve obtained some very detailed hands-on images of both devices. It shows off the device’s ceramic and glass back designs, giving us a good look at Meizu‘s craftsmanship this time around. We also get a good look at the both devices’ 6.6-inch Super AMOLED displays, as well as a direct design comparison between the two.
Like previously established, both versions of the Meizu 17 pack the Snapdragon 865 SoC with up to 12 GB LPDDR5 RAM on the Pro while the vanilla version sticks to 8GB of the LPDDR4X variety. Both come with 128GB or 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. They’re a pair of flagship devices through and through, and we’re expecting them to do decently well in the market.
Official sales for both devices in China begin on May 11. Meizu is also bringing two limited edition versions with the Collectors Edition 17 Pro which will retail for CNY 9,999 ($1,415) and is expected to arrive on May 25 as well as an Aircraft Carrier version of the device which will go for CNY 4,299 ($605) and launches on May 27.
