Meizu unveiled the Meizu 17 series of smartphones back on May 8 in China. At the event, the company also announced the Meizu 17 Aircraft Carrier Limited Edition smartphone. The limited-edition smartphone’s teaser video was showcased but the sale date was a question. Now, Meizu officials have confirmed that the limited-edition device will go on sale on May 27 i.e. tomorrow.
Meizu 17 Aircraft Carrier Limited Edition Smartphone Details
Last year, China launched its domestic aircraft built by China Shipbuilding Group that made history as it was the first self-built aircraft carrier. It was a proud moment for China and to celebrate it, Meizu announced the Meizu 17 Aircraft Carrier Limited Edition smartphone.
The device is made in collaboration with CSSC and Meizu which has made possible the limited-edition device look captivating. The smartphone is made out of solid materials with the aircraft carrier’s design embossed at the rear. The entire rear panel is a projection of gratitude, protruding the carrier’s looks.
Specifications of the Smartphone
Heading towards the specs, the Meizu 17 Aircraft Carrier Limited-Edition smartphone will feature the same front design as the vanilla Meizu 17. It sports a 6.6-inch AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate panel. It is a hole-punch panel with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio.
Inside, it is powered by the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC as in the other Meizu 17 siblings. It is coupled with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 internal memory. It houses a 4,500mAh battery with 30W fast charging technology.
It is 5G handset with Four cameras at the rear. There’s the 64-megapixel Sony IMX686 primary sensor along with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens. There’s a 12-megapixel depth-sensing lens and the fourth 5-megapixel macro camera lens. At the front, it gets a single camera setup.
Pricing And Pre-Order Details
Other than this, the limited-edition smartphone is priced at CNY 4299 or roughly $603. It will go on pre-orders at 10 Am China time and will be shipped from June 1 in the country.
