After launching LG’s premium mid-ranger in its home-town South Korea, the LG Velvet 5G has been launched in the US. The United States is the next global market for the LG Velvet and it will be available via three carriers.
The LG Velvet 5G is priced at $599(~CNY 4,196) for the sole variant with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal memory. The variant is currently available from AT&T and will later be available from T-Mobile and Verizon. The smartphone comes in all of its colors including the Aurora Silver and Aurora Gray. Additionally, AT&T also has an LG Dual Screen for $199.99(~CNY 1,401).
The LG Velvet 5G features a 6.8-inch P-OLED panel with an FHD+(2460×1080 pixels) resolution. It is a water-drop notch display with thin bezels. There is a triple rear camera array that holds the 48-megapixel primary lens, 8-megapixel secondary lens, and a 5-megapixel depth-sensing camera for bokeh shots. There is a 16-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies.
Inside, it is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G mid-range SoC bundled with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. It has a microSD card slot for additional storage. It runs on Android 10 with LG’s custom skin on top of it.
