According to the Lenovo notebook sales Weibo page, the Lenovo YOGA 14s Ryzen Edition will be scheduled to go on sale sometime during the beginning of next month. It’s been a long time coming, but it’s good to see it finally happening
At the beginning of May, Lenovo officially released news that due to insufficient material supply/capacity, the public pre-sale of YOGA 14s originally scheduled for May 11 and the public sale on May 16 were temporarily cancelled.
It’s been reported before that Ma Zhiyu, senior product manager of Lenovo China’s consumer notebook product planning, has said that Lenovo YOGA 14s will resume production in late June at the earliest.
At the end of April this year, Lenovo announced the price of the YOGA 14s Ryzen Edition. The initial price of the R7 4800U/16G/512G variant was 4999 yuan ($707). It was originally scheduled for public pre-sale on May 11 and public sale on May 16.
For specs, the YOGA 14s Ryzen Edition is equipped with AMD’s Ryzen 7 4800U processor launched this year, with 8 cores and 16 threads, a Zen 2 architecture and built on a 7nm process. It features the Radeon Vega8 GPU, paired, with 16GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD.
In addition, the YOGA 15s with a 10th generation Core is not expected to arrive within two months. In view of Intel’s upcoming Tiger Lake-U processor, the new YOGA 14s/15s Intel version may directly launch with the 11th Generation Intel CPUs.
