The Lenovo Legion Phone has been running through the rumor mill for a fairly long time now. It’s going to be the most exciting launch from the Lenovo stable of smartphones so far, and the company is keeping up the hype with a teaser trailer showing off the device’s intended orientation, horizontal.
The teaser shows off a bit of the Legion smartphone’s user interface, specifically the settings panel. It’s all designed to be used in landscape mode, with the extra screen real estate being put to good use as opposed to being wasted. It’s a clever design for a device meant to primarily be held horizontally.
The device will apparently feature a unique rear design with the camera close to the center, further pushing people to use it horizontally. On top of that, if the rumors are true, it’s also going to feature a pop-up camera that comes out of the side of the device instead of the top.
We’ve heard next to nothing about the device’s specifications, but we’re expecting nothing but the highest end specs here. We do know it will feature 90W charging, a gamepad accessory and “game-changing liquid cooling technology”, but not much outside of that.
These are all choices that make sense for a gaming phone, and it’s resulted in one of the most interesting smartphone launches of the year so far. We’re extremely eager to see what exactly Lenovo have in store for us, and we hope they deliver. For more updates on the Lenovo Legion Phone, stay tuned on Giztop.com.
