A few weeks back, Lenovo launched the all-new Lenovo Legion Phone 2 Pro in the Chinese market. The gaming smartphone’s major highlight was the whopping 18GB of RAM running underneath. The same 18gigs of RAM variant was not initially available for purchase in the region. Now, the company has officially revealed the first sale date of the Legion Phone 2 Pro’s higher-end(18GB RAM) variant.
The variant will go on sale from May 20 in China. The smartphone is priced at CNY 5,999(~$933) for the 18GB RAM + 512GB storage variant. It will be available in two of its standard colors Black and White. For the global audience, the phone can be picked up from the Giztop Shop and it will be shipped anywhere in the world.
Lenovo Legion Phone 2 Pro Specifications
The Legion Phone 2 Pro ports a mammoth 6.92-inch display with an Full-HD+ resolution. It has a Samsung E4 AMOLED panel with 144Hz high refresh rate and 720Hz touch sampling rate with a response time of 3.8mm.
It has a dual-rear camera system with a 64MP OmniVision primary lens and a 16MP ultra-wide sensor. The smartphone’s selfie camera, which apparently is a pop-up lens is a 44MP sensor. Although it is a gaming phone, it has a great camera system that can shoot 8K videos at 24 fps.
Under the hood, the device comes powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset paired with 18GB of RAM and 512GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage. It houses a 5,500mAh battery with 90W Rapid charging technology. The phone has a game mode and a liquid cooling mechanism for maintaining the heat while playing intense games.
