Lenovo Legion Gaming phone was confirmed to arrive in July this year being the first gaming device from Lenovo. The launch month was confirmed but the exact launch date was a question, now, the official launch date has been revealed.
Lenovo has gone over social media and confirmed the Lenovo Legion Gaming phone’s launch to be on July 22. Lenovo will take wraps off its gaming device on 22nd but guess what? it is clashing with the ASUS ROG Phone 3 launch which is also scheduled for that same day. It will be interesting to see what both gaming smartphones offer.
Anyways, the poster shared on the social media platforms reveals the presence of Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+ SoC. The Plus model of the 865 SoC was launched earlier today and it promises improved graphics. It is also confirmed to come with a full-fledged 5G support.
Other than this, the smartphone was teased earlier flaunting its 90W fast charging support and heat dissipation mechanism. Its design was also showcased and it seems to be designed for heavy gamers. It has a landscape design and with that, we mean the rear and front cameras will be placed at the center. The front camera will make use of the pop-up mechanism. It will be a 64MP + 16MP rear array and a 20MP pop-up lens for selfie shots.
It is said to come with a massive 144Hz display with FHD+ resolution. There will be up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. It will come with an in-display fingerprint scanner and have game optimized UI based on Android 10.
