Lenovo Legion Gaming Phone Is Official In Teaser and Press Renders; Is There a Pro Model?

Just yesterday we saw the Lenovo Legion Gaming Phone listed on for pre-orders. Now, the listing has an updated page and it shows some fresh press renders of the gaming smartphone. Surprisingly, the listing has named the device as Legion Gaming Phone Pro. Another teaser video that seems to have just emerged shows more of its looks and also tags its name to be a Pro model.

This is something that confuses many as so far we have been getting leaks for only one model which was the non-pro device and now we see the Pro model. Currently, it is not clear if there is actually a Pro device, or is it just a mistake. The images from the page match the past teasers and we expect it to be the regular model.

If we take a look at the renders, we see the new Red color variant. So far the device we saw was in Blue finish and this one looks saucy. There is a texture back and also has the Red accented ‘Y’ shaped coloring that makes it look like an actual gaming smartphone.

It has the landscape orientation with a side-mounted pop-up front-facing camera and the rear dual cameras are mounted at the center alongside the LED flash. The font has a thin-bezel design with a modern aspect ratio. The device is in Red finish and so does the bedzels have Red accents. We see the stereo speaker setup at one at the top and the second at the bottom.

The smartphone seems to be running Lenovo’s custom UI that has its own custom wallpaper. Moreover, there is also a promotional teaser of the device leaked online that shows the device in action.

Some of the internals we learned from the past listings are also quite interesting. It will come with a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with an FHD+ resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. It will feature a 64MP + 16MP dual-camera array and a 16MP front-facing cameras. It will come powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+ SoC coupled with up to 16GB LPDDR5 RAM and up to 512GB UFS 3.1 onboard storage. The device will come with some game-centric features and also have a dual liquid cooling mechanism. The 5,000mAh battery is said to take care of long hours of gaming sessions.
