Lenovo is all set to announce the Legion 2 Pro gaming smartphone on April 8 in the Chinese market. Just two days before the launch we now have live images of the smartphone surfaced over the web. The live images reveal the unique rear design of the smartphone enticing us to its actual release.
According to the live image shared on the Chinese microblogging site Weibo, the Lenovo Legion 2 Pro gaming smartphone has a refreshed design. The main highlights are at the rear. The phone seems to have a protruded rear camera module in the center. It has the Legion logo lighted up in RGB lighting.
It seems to have the same dual-rear camera system as its predecessor, the Legion Pro. Rumors are rife that it will feature a 64MP OmniVision sensor which will be capable of recording 8k videos at up to 30fps and 4k videos at up to 120fps.
Interestingly, it has a cooling fan beside the cameras. The rear color scheme is completely different than what we have seen in the Legion Pro gaming smartphone. Instead of a heavily graphical design, the Legion 2 Pro has a clean white design that looks to have a ceramic-like finish.
Moving to the front, the smartphone has a large display without any sort of notch. It does have a noticeable amount of bezels but it’s majorly a full-screen panel providing an intuitive experience. The display size is tipped to be 6.92-inch. It is an AMOLED panel with a whopping 144Hz refresh rate and 720Hz touch sampling rate.
At the helm, the smartphone will draw power from the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of onboard storage. It was spotted housing a 5,500mAh battery with support for crazy 90W fast charging support. As seen in the image, it has a dual-turbo cooling fan to maintain cool while intense gaming.
