Indian Smartphone maker Lava seems to bring a new smartphone in the Indian market. The company which was almost playing dead-alive for a while with its rare smartphone launches is expected to boost the Indian smartphone market with a new budget-segment device. Surprisingly, without any hints, Lava’s new smartphone has already appeared on the Geekbench Benchmarking portal.
The smartphone moniker seems to be Lava Z66 or it might just be the model number. It runs on the latest Android 10 and is benchmarked on June 16. To recall, Lava’s last smartphone was Lava Z53 that came with an old Android version and Unisoc processor.
Now, the Geekbench listing reveals that the smartphone fuels Unisoc octa-core chipset clocked at a base frequency of 1.20Ghz. It is accompanied by 3GB of RAM and is expected to come with 32GB of internal storage.
It scored 153 single-core scores and 809 multi-core scores which seems to be below the average budget device scores. Anyways, we guess the smartphone maker is trying to keep hold with such super-budget devices, considering its last device was also a budget Z-series smartphone.
The company hasn’t spoken a word about it but considering the Lava Z53 smartphone’s pricing, the Lava Z66 could arrive under $100 dollars(Expected) in India.
