Indian smartphone maker Lava has finally launched the ‘Made in India’ smartphone targeted to the budget segment in the country. The Lava Z61 Pro is a compact 4G handset that boards octa-core SoC and in a total of two cameras.
The Lava Z61 Pro is the company’s comeback with the current spree of Make in India devices. It is priced at ₹5,774(~$77) for the sole variant with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. It has Amber Red and Midnight Blue color variants and will soon be available for purchase in the country.
Lava Z61 Pro Smartphone Specifications
In terms of specifications, the Lava Z61 Pro has pretty basic hardware. It has an unknown octa-core SoC clocked at 1.6Ghz. It is paired with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of expandable storage. There is a 3,100mAh battery and has a micro-USB port to juice up the handset.
There is a 5.45-inch display with an HD+ resolution. It has an 18:9 aspect ratio screen with thick bezels at the top and bottom. There is an 8MP single rear camera with features such as Portrait mode, Panorama, Burst mode, Beauty, etc. At the front, it has a 5-megapixel selfie camera. The device can shoot 1080p videos and also has a night mode.
It does not have any sort of fingerprint scanner but does possess a software-based Face Unlock. It has a dual-SIM slot and storage expansion slot. It runs on Android and has Lava’s custom tweaks.
