iQOO Z1x 5G was touted to arrive this week in the Chinese market being a slightly downgraded version of the IQOO Z1 5G that launched earlier this year. It turns out that the launch is not this week rather iQOO will hold an event next week in the country.
Vivo’s iQOO shared a poster online that confirms the launch date to be July 9 in China. The poster also confirms it to be a 5G handset debuting next week. Rumors point it to be a mid-range device that will arrive as a sibling to the original IQOO Z1.
iQOO Z1x 5G Smartphone Specifications
The device made its way to the TENAA listings that confirmed its front and rear profile along with some significant details. It is said to power a mid-range Snapdragon processor instead of the Dimensity SoC seen on the Z1 5G.
It is expected to sport a 6.57-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of Full-HD+. It will be a hole-punch panel with a 20:9 aspect ratio. The device will feature a high 120hz refresh rate and will sport triple rear and single front camera setup.
Elaborating the array, it is said to equip a 48-megapixel primary camera, 2-megapixel secondary lens, and third 2-megapixel unit at the rear. At the front, it will bag a 16-megapixel selfie camera. It will be backed up by a 5,000mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging. It will run on Android 10 out of the box with iQOO’s custom UI on top of it.
