iQOO Z1 Images Leak, Will Launch on 19 May

This week has been fairly active for MediaTek and iQOO. MediaTek launched its latest flagship chipset, the Dimensity 1000+ and revealed that iQOO would be the first to use the new chipset. The iQOO Z1 promptly leaked out shortly after, and now we’ve got a release date for it, May 19th, which is next Tuesday.

On top of that we’ve also gotten more leaks from the leaker, showing off the front of the device as well as its hole punch camera cut-out. The pictures give us good look at the device, as well as confirming that the device will feature a 144Hz display.

The 144 Hz refresh rate was also mentioned by vivo, and it really shouldn’t come as a surprise considering how iQOO are meant to be vivo’s gaming subsection, so a high rate is pretty much expected. It’ll also be a good showcase for the Dimensity 1000+’s performance and power efficiency, especially compared to their previous device, the iQOO Neo 3.

Pre-registrations have already opened at some Chinese retailers, and people who sign up now will be among the first to learn about the launch of the Z1 next Tuesday. For more news on the iQOO Z1, stay tuned on
