The iQOO Z1 is the current hot button topic in the Chinese smartphone market. Between being the first MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ powered device on the market to the promising leaks, it’s looking pretty interesting.
The company has gone to Weibo to tease more of the device’s specs. There’s going to be a sizable 4500mAh battery keeping everything running, as well as 44W fast charging. We’ve also gotten more details about the Dimensity 1000+, mainly that it runs on Cortex-A77 cores and has Mali G77 GPU.

The handset will also come with 5G UltraSave network power-saving technology and HyperEngine. HyperEngine is MediaTek’s latest advancement in chipsets to give users the best gaming experience possible.Â
We’ve known most of this stuff for a while now, but it’s good to see iQOO keeping the energy and excitement alive with a consistent stream of news. Recently, it has also been reported that the iQOO Z1 6GB + 128GB will start at 2498 yuan, or about $353, which is pretty good.
We’re looking forward to the launch of the device on May 19, if only to see how the MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ sizes up. For more all the latest updates regarding the upcoming iQOO flagship, stay tuned on Giztop.com.
