iQOO’s ploy seems to be a new mid-range device for its homeland China as a new iQOO phone has made it to the TENAA portal. The smartphone carries iQOO V2054A model number and has mid-range specifications.
As per the TENAA listing, the iQOO V2054A has a fairly slim body at 8.4mm weighing 185.5 grams. The smartphone has a square-shaped rear camera module and a water-drop notch display. It has the volume and power button on the sides where the power button doubles up as a side-facing fingerprint scanner. The phone has a Vivo branding at the rear bottom on the left-hand side.
The device has a 6.58-inch LCD display sporting FHD+ resolution and a 20:9 aspect ratio. Interestingly, times where phones are launching equipped with four+ rear camera lenses, the V2054A features a 13-megapixel + 2-megapixel dual-rear camera system. On the front lies the 8-megapixel single selfie lens.
Fueling the handset is an octa-core processor clocked at 2.0Ghz. Now the exact chip inside is unknown but it’s a new-gen mid-range chipset as the phone supports 5G connectivity. Anyways, it has up to 8GB of RAM with 4GB and 6GB variants being the base ones bound with 128GB of onboard storage. It took our attention when we saw that it does not have a memory expansion slot.
It is backed up by a 4,910mAh battery with fast charging support. It runs on the latest Android 11 and we expect it to have Vivo’s FunTouch OS on top of it.
