iQOO has officially unveiled a new budget smartphone dubbed iQOO U3x Standard Edition in China. It is a 4G device that comes powered by the MediaTek Helio G80 SoC and boasts a 90Hz refresh rate display.
The smartphone starts at CNY 899(~$140) for the base 4GB + 128GB variant and is priced at CNY 1,099(~$170) for the 6GB + 128GB variant. It can be picked up in Light Black and Morning Front colors from June 9 in the region.
iQOO U3x Standard Edition Specifications
iQOO U3x Standard Edition packs a 6.51-inch display with an HD+ resolution. The exact resolution is 1600 x 720 pixels and the actual refresh rate is 90Hz.
It has a MediaTek Helio G80 chipset which is a bit inferior compared to the Snapdragon 480 used in the 5G edition of the same smartphone. It is paired with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. It packs a 5,000mAh big battery with 18W fast charging support.
The smartphone has a 13-megapixel primary camera and a 2MP secondary camera at the back. It has a single 8-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies.
The phone has a side-facing fingerprint scanner and support for face unlock for added security. It boots on Origin OS based on Android 11.
