Vivo owned iQOO has officially launched the all-new U1x smartphone at an event in China. The iQOO U1x is an iteration of the previously launched iQOO U1 with a budget chipset and a slightly bigger battery.
The iQOO U1x is priced at CNY 899(~$135) for the base 4GB RAM + 64GB internal storage and CNY 999(~$150) for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage. It has two standard finishes – Morning Forest and Light Black. It will go on sale from November 1 in China.

The U1x comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 SoC with a 5,000mAh battery. The battery has an 18W fast charging support via the USB Type-C port. It sports a 6.51-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of HD+. The display has a standard 60hz refresh rate and a pixel density of 296ppi.
As for cameras, it has a single 8-megapixel front-facing camera with f/1.8 aperture. There is a triple rear camera setup which is led by a 13MP f/2.2 unit, another 2MP macro lens, and a 2MP bokeh camera.
There is a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and also supports software-based Face unlock. It features a 3.5mm headphone jack for audio sessions and also has a USB Type-C for juicing up the handset. It runs on Android 10 OS with iQOO’s custom UI on top of it.
