iQOO has scheduled the launch of the all-new iQOO Neo5 on March 16 in the hometown, China. The smartphone’s specs have been in the news lately and with the launch confirmation, everything seemed official even before the launch. To our surprise, some high-quality teasers have come up online revealing the full design of the smartphone.
iQOO Neo5 Official Renders and Specs
The fresh high-quality renders flaunt the Matte-Blue color of the iQOO Neo5. The smartphone has a large punch-hole display with bere minimum bezels. Previous leaks have confirmed it to be a 6.62-inch AMOLED panel sporting a 120Hz refresh rate and FHD+ resolution. The punch-hole holds a 16MP front camera for selfie portraits.
We also get to see the camera module of the device. The phone bags a triple rear camera system with a Sony IMX589 main sensor, another 13MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP macro unit. Beneath the camera lenses lies the iQOO branding.
It has a volume rocker and the power button on the right-hand side and probably has a SIM-card tray on the left. It has a speaker grille, microphone, and a Type-C port at the bottom. In these pictures we don’t get to see the fingerprint scanner, it is because of the in-display sensor with which the Neo5 would launch.
Other than this, the device will come powered by the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage. It is to be seen whether the phone has a memory expansion slot. In terms of the battery, the phone will house a 4,400mAh battery with 66W fast charging technology.
